At the moment Russian Automated System for Air Quality monitoring (RASAQM) consist of a number of stations located in the following territory:
- Sochi national park and adjacent territories
- near Baykal lake
- Obninsk city, Kaluga region
- to measurement concentration of main contaminants in automatic mode
- to take air sample for a peculiar gas impurities
- to measurement meteorological air parameters
- Carbon monoxide (СО)
- Nitric oxide (NО)
- Nitrogen dioxide (NO2)
- Sulfur dioxide (SO2)
- Hydrogen sulfide (H2S)
- Ozone (О3)
- Ammonia (NH3)
- Total hydrocarbons (∑CH)
- Methane (CH4)
- PM10
- PM2,5

In future plan to expand network of air quality monitoring to all territory of Russian Federation.
Stations for monitoring air quality is called ASK-A (figure 1). There are designed:
